AUTOMATIC PLATING LINESAn automatic plating line helps manufacturers improve coating quality, stabilise output and reduce reliance on manual handling. The whole process, from surface preparation and plating to drying, runs automatically under program control, giving precise control of immersion time, temperature and current in every tank.

TYPICAL PLATING PROCESS (the number and order of tanks are adjusted to each plating type):
1. Degreasing (chemical or electrolytic)
2. Water rinse
3. Rust and oxide removal
4. Water rinse
5. Surface activation
6. Plating: copper, zinc, nickel, chrome…
7. Drag-out recovery and water rinse
8. Passivation / protective coating (for zinc plating)
9. Drying and unloading
LINE CONFIGURATIONS:+
Rack plating line: for medium and large parts requiring a high-quality finish.

Barrel plating line: for small parts in large quantities such as bolts, nuts, screws and components.

Automatic gantry (hoist) line: hoists move between tanks following the PLC program, with an HMI screen for monitoring and setting parameters.
FEATURED PROJECT: SEMI-AUTOMATIC PLATING LINE – VIETTEL MANUFACTURING CORPORATION (VMC)KIEU AN designed, built, factory-tested and installed a semi-automatic plating line at the X5 workshop of Viettel Manufacturing Corporation. The 45-tank line covers copper plating, electrolytic nickel, electroless nickel and zinc plating, with a hoist crane moving parts between tanks and fully integrated filtration, heating, air agitation and fume extraction. The line has passed the owner's technical acceptance.
